- STEP 121 > Bend the side that overlaps onto the short flaps and press together.
- STEP 122 > Place the cube on a clean surface and press down the 2 short flaps until the glue dries.
- STEP 123 > All that is left is to seal the lid.
- STEP 124 > Make sure it all fits well before you put the glue on.
- STEP 125 > For the lid I switch to gluestick so that I have more time to play with until it dries, since I can't stick my fingers inside to put pressure and smoosh the hot glue flat.
- STEP 126 > Apply your gluestick to the 3 short lid flaps.
- STEP 127 > Close the lid and press slightly on the sides to form a bond without crushing your cube :O
- STEP 128 > Ready for assembly... Put some hot glue on the top of your toy caps. You may have to fill a few of the holes to get enough glue there to connect with your cube.
- STEP 129 > Grab your core cube, align the holes with the straw and slide it all the way down pressing lightly until the glue starts to harden.
- STEP 130 > Take your top spool and put hot glue along the tops of the toy caps. Fill in the holes if you need to.
- STEP 131 > Carefully fit the straw into the spool hole and slide it all the way down. If you properly aligned your beads this should be easy peezy.
- STEP 132 > Gently press the toy cap wheel against the top of your core cube. IMPORTANT: Do NOT press too hard as you will smoosh and crsh your cube.
- STEP 133 > Is it starting to look like a Moisture vaporator now ? 🙂
- STEP 134 > Here is the 3.75" Han to show you the scale. You can also see how our version is more movie accurate than the hasbro toy version.
- STEP 135 > Now take a large kebob stick.
- STEP 136 > Insert it into your base straw to keep it from collapsing in the next step.
- STEP 137 > We want to trim the exposed base straw so grab your scissors and place them against the top bead. Cut through the plastic, then spin a little, cut again, spin around, cut again until you go all the way around. The large kebob stick prevents the scissors from closing and crushing the straw tip closed.
- STEP 138 > The exposed excess base straw is now gone we are ready for the antennae.
- STEP 139 > take a standard 6" kebok stick.
- STEP 140 > 2 small wood beads and 2 textured silver beads. If you can't find these in your store, try to get as close to size as possible.
