- STEP 161 > Now start at the centre and move towards the top right (left image) return to the centre starting position (centre image) and press moving up towards the left (right image) ALWAYS RETURN to the CENTRE to avoid creases and air bubbles. Then move outwards. doesn't really matter what direction you go after, just that you return centre to continue your application pressure.
- STEP 162 > Next fold over the first bend. Fold from the centre first. the centre rule almost always applies to decal applications.
- STEP 163 > Continue folding over the foamcore edge (top image) and then start moving towards the right and left sides, always returning to the centre first (bottom image).
- STEP 164 > Next we want to flip the end flaps over the sides.
- STEP 165 > Now the final fold. Press the decal around the foamcore edge starting at the centre then centre to the left then centre to the right. When it's nice and flat you can press all over to make sure it's super glued on.
- STEP 166 > Turn your shape and fold over the other side now. Centre, Up, Centre left, centre right etc...
- STEP 167 > Next the flaps are pressed inwards.
- STEP 168 > Lift and fold over the side. By pulling as you bend you lower the risk of bubbles too.
- STEP 169 > Centre up, left, right you know the drill by now.
- STEP 170 > Last we want to fold the bottom side. fold and up, fold and left, fold and right.
- STEP 171 > Do the same on the other side.
- STEP 172 > now all that remains is to cover the rear of the box. Start by folding over the centre upwards (top image) then centre up, centre left centre right until it's all flat. Press all over until you know the decal won't go anywhere 🙂
- STEP 173 > our first rear box skin is done.
- STEP 174 > Now we repeat the same for the other.
- STEP 175 > Gluestick on the top (image left) Peel your decal (image right).
- STEP 176 > The yellow zone is where we will make first contact.
- STEP 177 > Start in the right corners, align and lower the other side.
- STEP 178 > When you make contact, examine all your corners and see if they match up perfectly with your folds.
- STEP 179 > When you are happy with the alignment (green arrows) you can start folding (red arrows).
- STEP 180 > Your 2 rear boxes are done. Put aside for now.
