- STEP 221 > Carefully lign up your side decal with the body. You can do this better by concentrating first on where the extruding sections ("F" and "B") stick out.
- STEP 222 > Carefully press from the centre rear towards the front of your "F" section. DON'T PRESS TOO HARD in case you need to peel it off to re-align more precisely.
- STEP 223 > If you are happy with the positioning of section "F" gently move your hand to the RIGHT. Then go back to the centre and move your hand along to the LEFT (or bottom).
- STEP 224 > When it all fits perfectly, you can apply more pressure with your hands making sure to remove any folds or air pocket bubbles.
- STEP 225 > Now we can wrap the rest of the decal. Start by placing a generous amount of gluestick along the back and ...
- STEP 226 > ... opposite side of the foamcore body.
- STEP 227 > You can now start gently folding the rear around the bend from the CENTRE as always first.
- STEP 228 > Move all the way across the other side of the rear.
- STEP 229 > Return to the centre position and press your hand along the rear LEFT.
- STEP 230 > Return again to the centre and move your hand towards the RIGHT.
- STEP 231 > With the REAR SECURE you can start bending and folding the decal over the last corner.
- STEP 232 > When you work your way to the bottom, you can start folding over the UNDERSIDE of the decal at this time. TUG and PULL the decal so that it stretches all the way across as designed.
- STEP 233 > Keep folding and pressing making sure you have no folds or bubbles.
- STEP 234 > Go back to the side centre and move your way towards the LEFT corner. Back to the centre and move to the RIGHT corner.
- STEP 235 > When you are happy you can start applying more pressure as you press your hand on the entire side surface.
- STEP 236 > Now the contacts of the SIDE and FRONT decals may not be perfect yet. Just like Death Star blastdoors, we want to use the thumb fingernail technique to blend the 2 decals together better. Simply start at the top of your nail and slide it around the corner edge as you move your thumb forwards.
- STEP 237 > Do this all the way around each corner. Always move in the direction of the fold. From just before the end of the decal outwards, wrapping the edges onto each other without tearing.
- STEP 238 > When you are done, the decals appear more blended and it's harder to distinguish when one starts and the other stops.
- STEP 239 > Continue this until you are satisfied with the edge blends.
- STEP 240 > Your Console "A" body is complete but we still need to place the decals on the mini chair.
