- STEP 081 > By simply taking another foamcore and placing it against the piece you are cutting (red arrow image 1) your connection (green dotted line image 2) will now support both sides of your ruler and preventing you from getting the wobbles (red arrow image 3).
- STEP 082 > Now when you have done 4 cuts from the corners out, we can reverse directions and do the remaining 4 cuts. This time from the corner to where you meet your first cut.
- STEP 083 > You should be able to pop out the centre very easily.
- STEP 084 > Your inner square frame is now complete.
- STEP 085 > You can keep this inside piece for your dorito decals later on.
- STEP 086 > If you notice you are starting to get bubbles or air pockets in your cuts like in the bottom image, your blade is too dull and needs to be replcaed so you can cut clean again like you see in the top image.
- STEP 087 > Remove the old blade, dispose of it in a safety container and replace with a fresh new blade.
- STEP 088 > We are now ready to repeat the steps on your 2nd square frame untill you can pop out the centre and move on to the next step.
- STEP 089 > We now have 4 frames - 2 octagonal and 2 squares. We need to turn these into DOUBLE THICKNESSES.
- STEP 090 > To do so, grab your 4 remaining foamcore squares.
- STEP 091 > One at a time you are going to align them to make certain the 15cm edges match up to each other.
- STEP 092 > Then flip yur top frame, and put hot glue all around the back side.
- STEP 093 > Quickly but carefully flip it upright and lower it to one of your 4 pieces. Make sure the outside edges are FLUSH.
- STEP 094 > When you are satisfied with the alignment, press down firmly for a few seconds until the hot glue cools down.
- STEP 095 > Do the same with your 2nd octagonal frame. Hot glue...
- STEP 096 > Flip it and align the edges perfectly and press down.
- STEP 097 > Time for the inner square frames. Just like before, some hot glue all the way around.
- STEP 098 > Align the frame, you want outer edges to be prfectly flush.
- STEP 099 > press down lightly until the hot glue cools down.
- STEP 100 > Repeat the same steps, hot glue all around...
