Celebration IV SWAG was a truly special in many ways and remains to this day, the items that retain the biggest emotional ties for me. Starting with the pin, this was the FIRST REAL pin I had made, and it turned out FANTASTIC, I learned a lot too, too small text turns your colors dark. Not good 😛 We gave away 25 a day and a few extras for our VIP fans who came to visit us everyday of the convention.
.
The T-Shorts were awesome because 1) I had a cool design I created if I do say so myself 🙂 2) I was able to get the same T-Shirt printer that Lucasfilm was using for their store, so I knew the quality was gonna be good and 3) Luasfilm actually agreed for the first (and only) time to sell our T-Shirts to the public who could not attend the show through the StarWars.Com store after the convention. My Geek brain exploded when they told me that 🙂

Last giveaways were the most fun, because I turned them into a interactive game for our visitors. You see, because this year was so special for me in getting my childhood dream to come true and come work at ILM in San Francisco, I wanted to share that excitement with the fans. Working at Lucasfilm while I was designing and preparing the booth, I had made enough friends and contacts to allow me to gather up some very amazing “presents” So, I put the logos of Lucasfilm, LucasArts and ILM on the back of a selected few cards. I think 60, 20 each. ILM maybe had 25 prizes. When you came to the booth to pick up your Diorama Builders badge, you flipped it and if a logo appeared on the back, like a instant lotto ticket, you WON !!! and got to sift through the giant bin of that company to take home prizes that mostly only employees could buy at the company store. TRUE EXCLUSIVE SWAG available ONLY at our booth. So that was really cool to do. The only BAD memory I have is that I had to make every single card LOL. I printed the designs at Kinkos, then had to cut out each of the 500 cards, cut 500 of the backs, sandwhich them together, then laminate each and everyone. It was a little primitive looking, but made with my love, so extra special for those who still have theirs 🙂
