- STEP 021 > You now have 2 perfect halves for the top and bottom of your round wall panel.
- STEP 022 > If you are making more than 1 Small Round Wall Panel and you don't want to start from the very start with the spinning pencil guide, you can simply take one of your halves, align it with the outside of a piece of foamcore and trace around the half curve with your pencil.
- STEP 023 > Just repeat this as many times as you need. Remember it takes TWO halves for ONE Small Round Wall panel.
- STEP 024 > Now you just need to cut out 2 more pieces in foamcore. The rear of the panel and the centre support beam.
- STEP 025 > You will want to measure 15 cm on each end of your foamcore sheet.
- STEP 026 > Align your ruler with your 2 guides and grab your pencil to trace a line all the way accross your foamcore sheet.
- STEP 027 > You will now want to make 2 guide marks at the top and bottom. First 6 cm for the panel itself and then from there, 2 cm for your spine piece.
- STEP 028 > Align your ruler and grab your pencil to connect your guides by drawing a line all the way accross.
- STEP 029 > Now you can cut your foamcore. Since I am making multiple Small Round Wall Panels later on, I decided to cut all the way accross the entire foamcore sheet even though I only need 8 cm of the 15 cm wide piece for now.
- STEP 030 > Now cut along your 6 cm guide line and the 2 cm guide line.
- STEP 031 > The 2 cm rectangle piece is only 14 cm long, so you need to remove 1 cm from the 15 cm original width.
- STEP 032 > Slice off the tip of your rectangle at the 14 cm guide line.
- STEP 033 > Your last piece to cut is NOT FOAMCORE !!! You need a wrap around skin supporter for this piece so make sure to measure and cut on a POSTER BOARD surface.
- STEP 034 > If you are unfamiliar with Posterboard, it is thicker than regular paper but not thick like a regular cardboard. it is a little thinner than an action figure card.
- STEP 035 > So you want to measure the same standard 15 cm height on each side of your posterboard sheet.
- STEP 036 > Then from the left corner, measure 10.5 cm at the top and bottom of your 15 cm height.
- STEP 037 > Grab a ruler, align your guide marks and make a cutting guide line with your pencil.
- STEP 038 > Since I am making more than 1 Small Round Wall Panels, I am cutting down the entire length of the posterboard to have one long 15 cm wide strip.
- STEP 039 > Now I can cut along my shapes guide line and put aside the rest for later use.
- STEP 040 > You now have all the pieces you need for your construction. Foamcore Rear Panel base, top and bottom half circles and cetre beam support plus your posterboard wrap around skin support.
