Happy Halloween everybody – a good excuse as any to dig up one of the most FUN halloween costumes I created in a long time.
.

After seeing the Star Wars Episode VII trailer – and fell in love with BB8 – Sorry R2 🙂 – I knew what costume I wanted to make for my office halloween day. I knew I wanted to use the soundtrack from my Sphero BB8 and I knew I wanted it to be built around me sitting in a office chair so I could roll around on wheels. The easiest way to make this was with CARDBOARD !!! I just designed it in sections like those break away oranges. It took me maybe 3 weeks to build and needless to say it was a HUGE success, I had all my co worker friends laughing and for some reason, they ALL KNEW it was ME inside – LOL. I guess no one else would be NUTS like I am to tackle such a costume 🙂

And guess who won FIRST PRIZE ? Well it helps when your office is filled with fellow Visual Effects geeks – hahahaha – AMAZING memory from my days working at Framestore Montreal. Miss you guys !!! but NOT the LONG crazy hours 🙂 Enjoy the video flashback everybody 🙂 I will post some MAKING OF images soon. Frank.
