This scene was part of my Phase 2 Dioramas, this scene in a box is where I started to make them look closer to the movie sets but still compact enough to be placed on the 14″ deep shelves of my basement diorama room. I still used dollar store materials (which I still do today) but tried to spend more time using movie stills and magazine, book references to get the look closer without going too crazy.

The main memory I have of this scene is how simple it was to design, as Hasbro released the DELUXE 2pk set of 2 diorama halfs that included the garbase base floor stand if you will. It had holes for the figures feet to sit in, giving the illusion of being knee deep in garbage poop ? Since Hasbro designed the base size for me, all I had to do was figure out the wall heights to fit with the rest of my Death Star diorama designs. It is a simple diorama to make but oh soooo sweet to display our heroes in all their glory.
