This scene was part of my 2nd phase dioramas, where I started to move off the shelf and into a box so that it could be more movie accurate in size and yet still be able to lay flat on a shelf next to the basic phase 1 dioramas. X
Foamcore base. Applied decals from Niubniub’s Download Section. Straws painted with Chrome paint are inserted in divider holes to create the pipes. I used Poster Tubes and plastic bubble for the boilers. Engines were made with a Sebulba Pod Engine and Super Sculpey. Made a mold and cast 4 copies. Painted with beige car paint and dirtied it with black acrylic. For more details go to Niubniub’s Making Of Section and click on the Leia’s Plans thumbnail. X
