diorio dioramas retro niubniub LUKE’S BLASTSHIELD TRAINING
You can CLICK on ANY PHOTO above to see it Full Size. Sorry for the low res quality. These Classic NiubNiub era photos were taken way before high speed internet and today’s smart phones and HD cameras were available. But I thought still fun to see my history than not at all right ? 🙂 Use the side arrows to scroll through the photo gallery. X

This scene was part of my Phase 3 design and construction : go FULL TILT MOVIE ACCURACY INSANITY ? Hahahaha. This is the fun I have today, not caring where it fits LOL. As long as it looks exactly like the movie set but still using the traditional dollar store items that you have come to know and love from my builds. I could have gone high tech and make it 100% ILM accurate, but then, many of you could not continue to build your own for your own home. What is the fun in that ? ? Since then I try to apply this thinking to all my dioramas now and that is half the fun, to push the envelope each time. Makes me smile when I see the figures inside the final scene. X
Foamcore base. Applied decals from Niubniub’s Download Section used for Han’s console and chess bench. Super Sculpey used for pillows in hallway, chess table, chess bench and accessories. Straws and wires work perfectly for pipes. You can find out more in the making of section. Click on Blastshield Training. X
Do you want to build this diorama for your own home and display your action figures like you see here ? Visit the tutorials SPEED INDEX page to find out if step by step MAKING OF instructions, DECALSdownloads, BLUEPRINTS downloads, VIDEO MAKING OF tutorials, ART SUPPLIES material list are available for this build. If it is not available you can always send me an email request atDIORAMAWORKSHOP.COM@GMAIL.COM – and I will try and prioritize this for you.X X
Did you also build this Diorama ? Would you like to show it in the site’s GALLERY VISITORS DIORAMAS section, yes ? THAT IS AWESOME !!! You can find out all the details on how to email me your photos on the VISITORS SUBMISSIONS INFO page … When I get your photos, I will create your very own page just like this one. You may not realize it but work does inspire others to join in the fun of making Action Figure Dioramas. X

I didn’t see Blastshield Training in the making of section. Is that still out there? I’ve been wanting to recrate this for some time. Specifically, I have a Millennium Falcon Extraordinaire (PotF TRU display) and I want to build the diorama directly into it. And the cock pit. And the turrets. Basically everything.
Hey Troy – WOW that IS one AMAZING piece for a collection and a brilliant idea that I would do too if I had that monster. If I recall it’s over 6 feet long ? When I built my Falcon Blastshield, it was before youtube and HD internet. I do have in old backup the original NiubNiub photos that I could email you if you don’t want to wait for me to post those online to the new site. I wish I could clone myself for all the backlog of stuff I want to do LOL. you can also email me dioramaworkshop.com@gmail.com for me to send you the available decals, Hans console etc… I will try help you on this project of yours as much as I can. Too cool 🙂 Frank.
