- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > When Lucie and I arrived we were in SHOCK - Where did ALL these people come from ? it went all around 3 blocks of the convention centre.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > Less then one hour after opening, lineups to take pictures and video of all the dioramas. People really enjoy seeing these. A small piece of info...7 out of 10 people NEVER heard of my website. How shocking!!!

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > Clicking away 🙂 I have a feeling many fans will be making dioramas when they get home. Heh heh. At one point on Saturday, the line up to get in to take pictures was over 40 minutes. Cool thing is that many stayed to make houses once inside.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > Friday 3:00 PM. Lots of cutting and assembling at the main table. And look way back...People have started putting the plaster bandages on their Mos Eisley Houses.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > More buildings being constructed. The thing I enjoyed best was seeing that not only the guys were into the workshop but many girls, moms, dads and their kids 🙂

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > The Option 1: SMALL Houses were 12" x 12" square base, the height and expansions you decided to add were all up to the builders which was great because it made NO 2 houses the SAME.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > Adding a few door frames to make it unique.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > And even using the foamcore CURVING technique to give it a rounded wall. Now that is some great diorama skills there 🙂

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > This is what is the best, father teaching son the love of Star Wars and crafting together. This boy should be close to 25-30 now and maybe has children of his own but I bet this day remains a hi lite for the memories with his dad.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > Lucky for us not too many accidents happened. Lucky for us there was a washroom just outside the door. In future conventions when we prooved our worth, Lucasfilm would give us our own sink inside our booth for fans to wash up.

- CONSTRUCTION DAY ONE - MAY 03 > Introducing Jamie Follis aka SILLOF master customizer. We met here at the show and clicked right away. Jamie has been by my side helping me at EVERY convention forwards for 20 years.
