- Looks like someone wants to tackle one of the TALL TOWER builds
- Concentration of a true artist 🙂 You have to place those coconuts just at the right position to make it look great 🙂
- Space was smaller this year due to convention being in Chicago, we had so many people wanting to build, we started having them use the outer tables that are normally just used as barricades.
- More building fun
- Katie giving the THUMBS UP cause it's just day 1 🙂 Let's see if she is still this happy and not tired come Monday LOL.
- Jamie getting ready for his Painting Master Class. A HUGE HIT with the fans.
- Brent explaining some techniques at the main entrance station. Not only has he been coming to Celebration since C4 2007, but he dragged his wife Alissa to the show and got her hooked on the dioramas which is good since she, and Brent, are a huge part and help of the Core Crew since 2012.
- Speaking of Alissa 🙂 Working hard is always part of the deal when coming to the show. Never a dull moment.
- Making tiles, keep it up, we need only 1500 more 🙂
- Part of this years NEW feature was painting the figures for your displays. FFG figures are amazingly detailed but come UNPAINTED. Just like the model kits when we were kids. Here is but 1 of the 2500+ Stormtroopers (and rebels and droids) FFG donated for the fans and to put on display
- Going back to the Diorama display side of the booth...
- Chris working on his shuttle and Mark almost done with the first AT-ACT template instruction display.
- Jamie and I working on the tower base as the kids start placing tiles together.
- The cool thing about the idea this year, was using EVA tiles so that they could snap together easily and appear to be one huge diorama base.
- Tammy, jamie's wife who also came for the first time ever, telling the kids how cool it's looking. Keep it up !!!
- Tony and Katie, great little helpers !!!
- Some of the snapped together tiles the kids did, just made me smile. My idea to use the tiles along with jamies technique how to paint them so they all match, just works perfectly.
- Close up of some of the painted FFG figures. Fans were really having a blast with this new scale.
- The first of the AT-ST's painted and positions for jungle beach attack.
- Now that Scott and I finished the Citadel Tower base, it was time for painting. Hey that's a cool Tshirt !!! Oh Yeah, that was our design for the crew and volunteers. Thanks to my friend Greg for doing the art. They turned out Great.
