FRANK DIORIO : This was a fun one. Our FIRST non figure diorama… building a replica of the ILM Death Star model that was used in the epic finale of Star Wars a New Hope. This felt more like making models of our childhood, putting tile pieces together to form the massive surface which led us with our FIRST partnership with MATTEL that gave us the opportunity to have kids participate in Hot Wheels Death Star Trench Run races multiple times a day throughout the show. Kids raced with one of their Star Wars Carships and got to KEEP IT and if you won the winners lap, you would get a gold button that when presented at the Hot Wheels booth, allow you to sit inside the cockpit of their LIFESIZE X-Wing Hot Wheels carship 🙂 This was a more relaxed workshop then the last one. It was great to be back and see returning fans, some who have built with us every year from the very start !!! It all just passes by too fast. Frank

BRYAN ARBOGAST : I have done the last three. It is a fun time. You meet new people, and take a break from the frantic floor for a bit. You can pick a project you are comfortable building, or painting. To come back later to see how you helped create a bigger scene is fantastic. At the end of the show. You are given the opportunity to take your piece home. They even offer a building class each day. This is one event I look forward to every Celebration.

HOWARD OSBORN : Me and my son helped build this. We had a blast !
