As most of you know, there is a little PARTY going on again this April in California, Oh yeah !!!

I’m talking about Celebration VII 🙂 And if any of you have attended any of these awesome Star Wars conventions. You may have seen kids – and adults – building these GIANT dioramas over at the Diorama Builders Workshops. Well guess what ??? we will be there again this year ;p This time, our theme is BESPIN and it will be the most AWESOME Diorama Workshops EVER (Do I say that every Celebration ? 🙂

Today – also marks the launch of our NEW 2015 Celebration VII Diorama Workshop Action Figure Fund and marks my 13th year working alongside Lucasfilm and Reed … the staff and I could not be more thrilled to come back for another diorama adventure.

Bespin celebrates the 6th Convention that I’ve come to Celebration to offer the fans an introduction to the Diorama Workshop Experience. This years creation will be more ambitious then ever with THREE (3) Full levels of Bespin Hallways, Reactor Cores, and Prison Cells as well as building Skyscrapers if you prefer to build the outside Skyline Option. There will be something for Beginners all the way to old Pro’s like myself and returning Diorama Masters.

Our booth is 60×60 feet of Diorama building space for the fans and 20 feet x 32 feet of Tables for the Final display and for the First Time EVER – Displayed INSIDE the actual HASBRO BOOTH !!! Giving the kids (and adults) creations even MORE exposure.

In ALL past Celebrations, Fans have always been so generous and donated their unwanted or duplicate figures to us to use at the Diorama Workshops through the CIII – CIV – CV and CVI Figure funds. Hasbro would then come on top and donate tons of toys from their warehouses to fill in the remaining gap so that ALL KIDS had at least ONE toy to go home with alongside their creation on the closing Sunday.

This year, We are again asking for your help !!. Especially with LESS THEN TWO (2) MONTHS till the show. Time is more precious then in years past. As you may also know, a diorama without any figures, as cool as the construction is, ONLY comes to LIFE with Hasbro TOYS. My loyal staff and I have gotten the ball rolling with 200+ figures, beasts and ships (purchased on ebay and from our own collections) but… that is just the begining of what we need for final display.

For this years Celebration VII Diorama Workshop Action Figure fund, I have set up 3 EASY WAYS for fans to participate and help us out.

1) SEND US YOUR TOYS BY MAIL

If you have figures hidden under your bed, or that your kids have outgrown and don’t play with (gasp LOL) or that you bought in duplicate and wish to donate those, you can send them by mail to our California Storage space. We will pick these up on the Wednesday set up day and bring them to the convention center to place in the Bespin Diorama. You can send your action figure fund donations to:
MAKE SURE TO MAIL IT BEFORE APRIL 10, 2015 – you don’t want the toys to arrive AFTER the convention has ended and the kids empty handed.

2) SEND A DONATION USING YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT

I have set up a Celebration Diorama Workshop account specifically for the Action Figure Fund. You can LOG IN to PayPal.com and click SEND MONEY enter in the TO (THIS ACCOUNT IS NOW CLOSED) and enter the amount $$$ you wish to donate. Please note: EVERY PENNY YOU SEND will go to buy figures on EBAY and used in the workshop display and ALL BOUGHT TOYS will be GIVEN to the KIDS on closing sunday. NO DONATIONS will be kept for our own personal use.
