Sunday – always bittersweet – The convention almost over, but today is the celebration of the completed diorama that the fans built from the ground up in just 3 days. It’s also the day where we tear down and give all the toys away that were on display to the kids. That is ALWAYS a HIGHLIGHT for us. To see the kids smiles is amazing. There is still a little time to build in the morning, but it is mostly photo op day. Including the group photos of all who helped make it. Of course come 5 when the diorama looks like a tornado passed through it, it is always sad 🙁 but we have memories and photos and the excitement to know we will start all over in 2 years time 🙂

- Day 4 of the convention - 10 am - Last day is always the saddest. Most if not all of the donated figured are placed in the final assembly ready for final photo ops at noon till 3 pm.

- Then after the kids giveaways (the BIG toy donations - Falcon - Xwings - Snowspeeders) its tear down and it just lives in our memories and these photos.

- AT-At's attacking the Rebel Base in the background. It looks so TINY in the photo 🙂

- Jamie had the idea of trying to place the camcoder on a wire and pull it accross the table like the Snowspeeder POV in the film.

- The trenches turned out Awesome and the whole layout was a huge fan success. BRAVO !!!

- Seeing the kids faces when they see their creations placed in the final scene - HEY DAD - WE MADE THAT !!! - Priceless. Worth all the hours we put into doing this every convention.

- Sometimes fans meet each other in line and create a bond and new friendship. This is what happened to Alissa and Laura. Alissa actually had SO much fun at the show, she has joined full time for our next adventure Celebration VI and is returning once again to help build Bespin in Anaheim this coming April. GO ALISSA !!!! 🙂

- The staff just fell in love with these twins and their brother who were just BLOWN AWAY at what they were able to do with just Styrofoam. WHO KNEW ??? as they say here LOL. It was cool surprise to see them all grown up and first in line when we returned to Orlando again for the Return To Tatooine Celebration VI diorama workshop.

- Even though Sunday the build is mostly completed, many fans still come to have fun and construct.

- A special Droid came for a visit and surprised this kid as she went to pick up some extra styrofoam.

- Full house on a sunday morning, an hour to go before final diorama is displayed.

- Of course you can still build and have fun even if the assembly is completed.

- As long as there are art supplies left, you can keep building.

- Duke and one of his admirers - The twins were at our booth every day building and had the best time.

- This X-Wing was passing by our booth, this is the kind of thing I make with cardboard at home too 🙂 VERY COOL.

- Oh yeah, these kids are READY to WIN some cool HASBRO Star Wars Toys !!! Everone under 16 can participate in the Sunday Giveaway just before tear down and picking up their creation and any action figures displayed on their piece.

- Simon handing out hallways to their makers. That's what is cool about the workshop. You get to bring home on the Sunday what you created as a souvenir. Plus any Hasbro toys that were displayed on it.

- Alissa had so much fun, even more than Ewoks at C4 she asked to join Core Crew for Celebration VI - She has been with us every year since then 🙂

- Whats left of our signs. Believe it or not, we have fans who ask the staff to sign theirs as a keepsake. Now that's someone who really LOVED the Diorama Experience - Right On !!!

- 4 pm, Someone found the jackpot and taking home one of the 2 Hoth War Rooms built.

- The pile of sad Hot Glue Guns that know their duty and the convention is over 🙁 Some fans DO take these home as well. I would.

- All that is left of the Echo Base are the hangar walls and archways.

- I guess the Echo Base door wasn't exciting enough to take home. mmm. I should have brought that home actually. DOH !!!

- Jamie telling fans that didn't build, too bad suckers !!! ;p Just kidding, He's telling people that as of 4 pm they can start picking up items that builders didn't want take home with them.

- Mom asking Fred is it true we can take what people built and didn't pick up at 4 pm ? YEP !!! Everything must GO GO GO !!!

- Jar Jar pays us a visit and leaves with his Shield Generator construction.

- And there you have it, that's all that is left. but what a fantastic 4 days... 🙂 Until we meet again....
