FRANK DIORIO : This one is a personal highlight for me and remains my FAVE workshops we did. The build design for the Endor trees and Ewok huts were so simple yet from far very realistic and a true fan fave for construction. What made it extra special for me was this year was my FIRST ILM contract, my childhood dream come true, to work at Industrial Light and Magic on the first Transformers movie. I remember crying walking in the hallways I was so grateful. I actually delivered my last shot just 4 hours before leaving to come to set up the show. Being at Lucasfilm, it was the first convention where I didn’t have to rely on emails for approvals, I could just take a elevator ride to Mary Franklin’s office and show her the prototypes in person. The final result was jaw dropping I just loved it all so much. Star Wars fans are the best. Frank

Tina S. : I was thrilled to be able to go to Lucasfilm/ILM for an exclusive tour. Some of the highlights were visiting the theatre, seeing props from Star Wars and other movies, viewing concept art, eating at the cafeteria (with fabulous views of the Golden Gate Bridge) and finally, a trip to the Lucasfilm store. It was great to meet Frank and John and also Greg and Lars who introduced me to the Sacramento area Star Wars collecting community.
