- STEP 261 > Flip the frame around and you will have about 5 seconds to jiggle the Doritos to make it as PERFECT PARALLEL TO THE FRAME'S CORNER as you can.
- STEP 262 > When in place, just press and stay like this until the Hot Glue cools down, maybe 20-30 seconds.
- STEP 263 > Put a little drop of Hot Glue close to the tip of your Doritos.
- STEP 264 > Quickly find your traced guide lines.
- STEP 265 > Flip your frame over and if need be, quickly make sure you have that PERFECT PARALLEL ANGLE with the layer 1 frame's corner.
- STEP 266 > Press and stay like this until the Hot Glue cools down, maybe 20-30 seconds.
- STEP 267 > Now grab 2 of your little rectangle spacers.
- STEP 268 > Put a dab of Hot Glue on one side.
- STEP 269 > Quickly press it down in the bottom corner as far away from layer 1's frame angled corner as possible.
- STEP 270 > A little dab of Hot Glue on the other rectangle spacer.
- STEP 271 > Press it in the opposite corner as as far away from layer 1's frame angled corner as possible.
- STEP 272 > Your Layer 1 octagonal frame is now complete. Let the Hot Glue cool off a good 15 seconds before the next step.
- STEP 273 > You now want to put a dab of Hot Glue in each corner where you see the red circles. For the Doritos triangles, just on the outside point and on the rectangle supports, it can be anywhere, just enough for it to attach properly but not squish out the sides and make a mess.
- STEP 274 > Grab your layer 2 rectangular frame and MAKE SURE THE BOTTOMS (1 cm) ARE ALIGNED IN SAME DIRECTION. You DON'T want a bottom on one layer and the top on another. Once you are sure the 2 layers are both facing the same position, slowly lower the rectangular layer 2 frame on top of the glued corners.
- STEP 275 > Place the Large Blast Door bottom against the table surface and press down making sure both layers are now flat and aligned perfectly.
- STEP 276 > Also make sure that the sides are well aligned too.
- STEP 277 > Now gently return the glued frames flat on the table and gently press down on the corners until the Hot Glue cools down. This should take about 30 seconds.
- STEP 278 > You now have layers 1 and 2 cemented to each other.
- STEP 279 > Grab 2 more Doritos triangles and this time, you want to place them in the opposite corners, the corners that you attached the 2.5 cm corner supports to.
- STEP 280 > Now it is VERY IMPORTANT that when you look straight down at the frame - now layers 1 and 2 - that 1) The gap illusion looks like the same 1 cm is poking out as the first 2 corners you just glued and 2) the Doritos MUST BE PARALLEL to the layer 1 front frame corner
