- STEP 041 > Time to make the "C" and "D" pieces.
- STEP 042 > Grab one of the pieces you popped out and find the side that measures 13 cm. This will be the HEIGHT of your inner wall.
- STEP 043 > We can cut both pieces "C" and "D" inside one pop out piece so make pencil marks 5 cm from the top ( your 13 cm side ) and then another 5 cm mark from the first one. Do this on the right and left sides of your foamcore rectangle.
- STEP 044 > Connect your ruler to the 2 markings and take your X-Acto utility knife and slice down your ruler. KEEP YOUR WRIST STRAIGHT 90 DEGREES !!!
- STEP 045 > Your pieces are cut, take your pencil and lightly identify the pieces. These will be on the rear during assembly so you will never see it or show through the decals.
- STEP 046 > Notice the measurements for "E" are exactly the same as you just did for "C" and "D"
- STEP 047 > Take the 2nd popped out rectangle.
- STEP 048 > Find which side is your 13 cm measurement.
- STEP 049 > As you did in Step 043, measure 5 cm from the top on both the right and left sides. Only making 1 rectangle this time so you don't need to mark the 5 cm twice as you did before.
- STEP 050 > Connect your marks with your ruler and slice down with your X-Acto Utility Knife.
- STEP 051 > For the other pieces, we need to go back to our large foamcore sheet. Since the first rectangles we cut were 27 cm and that the ceiling cap is 26 cm, I decided the most logic was to measure along the already cut 27 cm top line. So measure 26 cm this time.
- STEP 052 > The width of the ceiling cap is 5 cm so you want to make a mark on the right and left sides.
- STEP 053 > Connect your markings with your pencil.
- STEP 054 > Now on this line, measure 26 cm from the outside as you did in Step 051.
- STEP 055 > Now connect both 26 cm markings.
- STEP 056 > We are now able to cut along the 5 cm guide. If you feel confident you could have just cut at the previous step and not needed to trace your guide line.
- STEP 057 > Now poke down in the corner and slice down the 26 cm guide.
- STEP 058 > Your ceiling cap is now cut you can identify it as "H" with your pencil. Put it aside for now.
- STEP 059 > There are 2 last pieces to cut "F" and "G" that go on each side of your archway.
- STEP 060 > Grab a piece of foamcore large enough ( minimum 16 cm x 11 cm ) and on one side measure your archway height which is 15 cm.
