- STEP 201 > If you decide to use any of the other BASIC WALL panels you will have to first remove the TOP 2 cm from the 15 cm decal.
- STEP 202 > This is because the 2 cm top slats are already on your arch top.
- STEP 203 > When ready, dry fit your first inner wall decal.
- STEP 204 > Make certain the bottom slats are aligned first.
- STEP 205 > Then press it towards the top ceiling. If the sticker is slightly too tall, place a bend mark using your finger nail by pressing against the ceiling corner.
- STEP 206 > Now grab scissors and trim along your fold. Of course if your decal fit perfectly you may not need to do this step.
- STEP 207 > If you DO cut the top, remember to grab your Sharpie and re-draw your black edge.
- STEP 208 > Now it should fit perfectly.
- STEP 209 > Take your glue stick and cover the entire surface area.
- STEP 210 > Peel back your label sheet decal.
- STEP 211 > Carefully align it with one side first and let it slowly fall onto the surface. If need be, wiggle it around until it fits just right. The glue stick will cause the foamcore to be slippery and allow you to move it around for a few seconds.
- STEP 212 > When you are happy with the position, secure it by pressing down with your finger. Press hard from the centre out, centre out, centre out.
- STEP 213 > Use your finger nail technique along the side. Remember to fold down and around at the same time in small movements, not one lone stroke at first.
- STEP 214 > Repeat on the remaining sides of your decal.
- STEP 215 > You should now have a perfect skin 🙂 Time for the other side.
- STEP 216 > This should be easier for you to do as you already did the first one. Just repeat the steps, dry placement fitting...
- STEP 217 > Trimming if needed because the decal was just a little too long.
- STEP 218 > 99% of the time, your trimming would never be bigger that this tiny sliver.
- STEP 219 > Use your Sharpie to re-draw black on your freshly cut edge to match the others.
- STEP 220 > Get your glue stick and put a good amount all around the foamcore surface.
