You can CLICK on ANY PHOTO above to see it Full Size. Sorry for the low res quality. These Classic NiubNiub era photos were taken way before high speed internet and today’s smart phones and HD cameras were available. But I thought still fun to see my history than not at all right ? 🙂 Use the side arrows to scroll through the photo gallery. X

This scene was part of my 2nd phase dioramas, where I started to toy with movie accuracy as long as it fit on the 14″ deep wall shelves of my basement diorama room. The phase 2 scenes were inside their own boxes, so they could be moved around and not stuck to the shelf like the phase 1 scenes. X
Foamcore base. Extra foamcore strips glued on for embossed design. Walls were then covered with latex paint. The platform was sculpted in plastiscine, then I made a silicone mold and made 8 plastic resin copies. Painted them with latex colors and 1 coat of gloss medium for a shiny look. Hot glue gunned all the platforms to the walls. the bottoms stick into the wall openings to add stability. 2 Foamcore 1/4 circles, with photoshop patterns, were glued to the bottom of each platform to look like the gears in the film. The movers destroyed this scene in the truck ? But I still have all the ships and the droids, and the sculpted docks, so I do plan down the road to make this again and now with HD cameras available, even film a VIDEO making of. I look forwards to building this again soon ? X
