The one that started it all…
.

A little convention arts and crafts test that Mary Franklin at Lucasfilm allowed me to produce and organise way back in 2002. I was 38 and had dabbled in dioramas for a couple of years already and my first site NiubNiubsUniverse.com but nothing prepared me for the adventure that was to come and BECOME a staple for more than 17 years and counting 🙂

SORRY for the LOW QUALITY of some of the images, they are from mixed medium including early pre-HD video stills. If only we had today’s tech back then 🙂

LOOKING BACK…

FRANK: Our first completed diorama. Built from scratch by the fans in just TWO DAYS !!! the diorama really came to life when we put the Hasbro action figures into the scene. Being the first, and a test of sorts, the figures were my own mixed in with Jamie Follis’ personal figs and a few Indy Fan Club members sprinkled in there as well. Since these were our own figures, we did no give aways that are common now in the Diorama Builders workshops. Also check for the FIRST EASTER EGGS in some of the photos 🙂 This is one of my fave things to find and that some fans hide in the final display  🙂
